August 5, 2020 – Woodburn, OR – On Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at approximately 5:38 p.m., Woodburn Police responded to the 600 block of Carol Street in Woodburn in response to the report of a stabbing. Officers located a Hispanic male in his early 20’s, suffering from multiple stab wounds, who was taken to an area hospital for his injuries and later released. The suspect, who fled the scene prior to police arrival, was identified as Woodburn resident, Aldo Vasquez Lozano (age 21).

Vasquez Lozano is a Hispanic Male Adult, 5’6’’, 120 lbs with shaved black hair and brown eyes. He has three dots tattooed under his left eye, a tattoo across the top of his hairline above the forehead and “503” on his right arm. Investigators learned Vasquez Lozano and the victim knew one another.

Fatal Crash Partially Closes Marion Street Bridge In Salem.

6:15 pm from ODOT: Valley, No. Coast: A crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle has resulted in a fatality on the Marion St Bridge (Westbound OR 22) in Salem. Two of the bridge’s four lanes are closed. While it hasn’t been determined if the bridge will be closed for a law enforcement investigation and reconstruction, there will be significant delays. There isn’t an easy detour. Travelers should avoid the area, find an alternative route or expect delays. More Info Here

Multiple Agencies Fighting 2-Alarm Commercial Structure Fire On Kropf Road Near Gibson Road, Molalla.

Firefighters from Molalla, Canby, Woodburn, Mt. Angel, and other agencies are fighting a two-alarm commercial structure fire at an ag building used for the storage of dry sawdust on Kropf Road near Gibson Road off Hwy 211 south of Molalla.  Watch out for emergency vehicles responding to the area.
